Join our Community Storytellers before the start of each performance of The Merchant of Venice 1936 as they share the inspiring true stories of the 'Ordinary People' affected by the Battle of Cable Street.

Featuring eyewitness accounts of living in the Jewish East End in 1936, hear the tales of those who stood up against the the Fascists and said 'Thou Shall Not Pass'.

The tales of Ordinary People will be shared 30 minutes before each performance in Watford Palace Theatre's downstairs Cafe area and upstairs Green Room Bar.
