Co-founder and Core Artist
Kitty is a co-founder and core artist of Moving Stories Theatre Company. Kitty is also an actor and movement director.
As Movement Director for Moving Stories Kitty’s credits include ‘The Winter’s Tale’ (RCSSD and Minack Theatre) ‘Midsummer Nights Dream: A Power Nap’ (Southbank Centre), ‘The Tempest’ and and their award winning production of ‘Twelfth Night’ at the Minack Theatre. Other credits include: ‘Hallelujah’ (Contact Theatre), ‘The Christmas Chocolate Shop’ (Derby Live), ‘Orestes: Re-Examined’, ‘Oh What a Lovely War’, ‘Heresies’. ‘Bronte’(Smock Alley), ‘Wickedness of Oz’ (A Show in a Bag Productions), ‘Corenerstones’ (Smock Alley).
As a performer Kitty most recently toured the UK with ‘Getting Better Slowly’. Other acting credits include: Fle in ‘The Unfurling of Indigo Higgins’, Chief in Babbling Vagabonds’s ‘Naughty Meg’ (Derby Live), Jax in New Perspectives 'Something Blue', Vanessa Bell in Moving Stories ‘Vanessa and Virginia’ (Riverside Studios and international tour), Mrs. Usher / Annie Besant in ‘Sweet Comradeship’, Electra in ‘Orestes: Re-Examined’ (Southwark Playhouse), Violet in ‘Heresies’ (Bristol Old Vic Studio).
Kitty is also the artistic director of the award winning REC Youth Theatre Company. Kitty also lectures both in Acting and Movement, teaching at a variety of institutes including Bath Spa University, Chester University, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
